Ba Ria – Vung Tau Industrial Parks 2026

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Industrial Parks 2026: Operating Industrial Zones and Future Development Pipeline

Ba Ria – Vung Tau is one of Vietnam’s most strategic industrial and port-centered economic regions, serving as a critical gateway for international trade and industrial development in Southern Vietnam. Home to the Cai Mep – Thi Vai Deep-Sea Port Complex—one of the largest and most modern deep-water port systems in Southeast Asia—the province offers direct access to global shipping routes, making it a preferred destination for manufacturers, logistics providers, and export-oriented industries.

Supported by ongoing investments in transportation infrastructure, including the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway and regional logistics networks, Ba Ria – Vung Tau continues to strengthen its position as a key industrial hub for heavy industry, petrochemicals, advanced manufacturing, energy, and high-tech production.

As of the end of 2024, the province had 13 operating industrial parks covering more than 7,226 hectares, with an average occupancy rate of approximately 68%. Ba Ria – Vung Tau has attracted around 1,100 investment projects with total registered capital equivalent to USD 48–50 billion, including nearly 500 foreign-invested projects valued at over USD 33 billion.

Under the provincial master plan for 2021–2030, with a vision toward 2050, Ba Ria – Vung Tau is expected to develop an additional 24 industrial parks with a combined area approaching 16,000 hectares—more than doubling its current industrial land supply.
