District 1 Ward Merger: New Ward Names
To support clients in accurately locating office buildings under the new administrative structure, SEE THE SPACE has compiled a clear reference of new and former wards in District 1.
The ward merger in District 1 marks a significant adjustment in the urban management of Ho Chi Minh City. Under the new plan, administrative boundaries have been streamlined, resulting in the renaming and consolidation of several well-known wards—directly impacting the legal addresses of businesses operating offices in the CBD.
New Wards in District 1 After the Merger
- From 10 former wards → reduced to 4 new wards
- Effective from July 1, 2025
- Former wards such as Ben Nghe, Da Kao, Nguyen Thai Binh, Pham Ngu Lao will no longer appear in official administrative addresses
