On August 25, 2009, the Management Board of Industrial Parks in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province issued Investment Certificate No. 4922100164 for the infrastructure development project of Đất Đỏ 1 Industrial Park.
The park is planned on a total area of 496.22 hectares, of which 377.22 ha are for industrial land and 15.9 ha for warehouses.
The project has an operation term of 50 years, valid until August 25, 2059.

Đất Đỏ 1 Industrial Park is part of the 2,000-hectare industrial development plan in Đất Đỏ commune, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province (about 90 km from Ho Chi Minh City).
It plays a key role in the Southern Key Economic Region, benefiting from excellent connectivity for logistics, trade, and export-import operations thanks to its proximity to Cái Mép – Thị Vải Deep-water Port, National Highway 55, and the upcoming Long Thành International Airport.

The park connects directly to National Highway 55 (linking to Bình Thuận and Central Vietnam) and National Highway 51 (leading to Đồng Nai and Ho Chi Minh City), providing great advantages for goods transportation.
